Celia of Hakka-Chinese heritage, is a Canadian-Australian who has moved around a lot – it turns out Hakka in Chinese means ‘guest people’ so she has lived up this meaning! Born in East Timor, grew up in Australia and moved to Canada in 2004.
Julie was a very busy mother and entrepreneur – she ran two daycare centres (one in Taiwan and one in Richmond!) AND raised 3 children. Julie’s interaction with her community was a very positive experience and thus she continues to love life in her retirement!
